Diammonium phosphate is a completely watersoluble crystalline product. It is used as a raw material for the preparation of water-soluble NPK fertilizers for protected (greenhouses, hydroponics, sprinkling systems) and open field, as a raw material for the preparation of liquid complex NPK fertilizers. Nitrogen is necessary for the growth and development of the plant biomass, takes part in the photosynthesis process. Phosphorus is necessary for the development of the root system of the plants. DAP is used as a feed additive for animals as well. In addition, it has applications in industry. Diammonium phosphate is an ideal flame retardant. Due to its physicochemical properties, it inhibits ignition and combustion. Due to the complete absence of insoluble impurities, the complete dissolution of diammonium phosphate is ensured and the absorption in the impregnated materials, such as fabrics, plywood or wood, is improved.
The product is packed in 25 kg and 50 lbs laminated polypropylene bags with polyethylene liner and in 1000, 1200 and 1250 kg big-bags.
